La Vita E Bella: A Fusion of Western and Eastern Design

Representing the Spirit of the New Middle Class in China

The La Vita E Bella Show Villa, designed by David Chang, is a stunning representation of the emerging middle class in China. This French-style villa community, located in the fifth ring of east Beijing, captures the essence of the new middle class's taste for life, passion for travel and exercise, love for nature, and desire for specialized interests and hobbies.

The La Vita E Bella Show Villa stands out from other properties in the area due to its unique features and strengths. Developed by Beijing Capital Development Holding Group and Poly Real Estate Group, this project has the potential to stimulate the housing prices of neighboring properties and enhance the value of the surrounding districts.

The design of the villa incorporates a combination of classical European and Chinese elements. The use of materials such as stone, agate, turquoise, genuine stingray skin, rose gold, and shells elevates the quality and adds a touch of luxury. The fusion of Western and Eastern styles is evident in the fixtures and details, with Chinese connotations subtly integrated, such as the Chinese palace roof shape on the furniture.

With a total area of 401 square meters, the La Vita E Bella Show Villa offers spacious and well-designed living spaces. The ground floor features public areas, including a living room and a dining room, while the second floor provides more private spaces with a master suite and a children's suite. The basement houses a lounge with a multipurpose room, a bar, a study, and a music hall, while the sub-basement serves as a garage and rooms for maids.

The design process for the La Vita E Bella Show Villa involved comprehensive research and understanding of the target customers. The challenge of the narrow living room on the ground floor was overcome by repositioning it to the west wall, creating a more spacious and balanced space. The result is a harmonious blend of Western and Eastern styles, with classical European elements coexisting with simple and concise Chinese elements.

Melding the contemporary with the historical, the La Vita E Bella Show Villa showcases the creativity and resourcefulness of David Chang Design Associates International. Traditional Chinese details, such as spun silk flowers and birds wallpaper in the master bedroom, coexist with contemporary Western furnishings. The overall design is governed by Western sensibilities, while classical banisters, metal thread on the walls, and symmetrical carved screens provide gentle reminders of Chinese traditions.

The La Vita E Bella Show Villa has been recognized for its outstanding design and creativity. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Luxury Design category in 2018. This prestigious award acknowledges designs that incorporate best practices in art, science, design, and technology, contributing to quality of life improvements and making the world a better place.

Experience the fusion of Western and Eastern design at the La Vita E Bella Show Villa, a true masterpiece that embodies the spirit of the new middle class in China.
